Coconut Cake Balls

I wrote about a pretty sweet recipe I accidentally created.

It includes coconut butter, cake mix, and chocolate.

P.S. If you haven't had coconut butter before.. you have to try it.  It's amazing!!


You can buy it here.  Or make your own by processing shredded unsweetened coconut in a food processor until creamy.

    i love coconut oil...i'm thinking this coconut butter is the same thing, no? these cake balls are super cute!

    Oh, Katie! Read the post in Alaina's blog and just loved those cake balls with coconut! Do let me know what is coconut butter. Is it the same as thick coconut cream?

    thanks so much! coconut butter is actually just coconut that has been processed to a liquid.  i'm adding to the post now a link where you can buy some! :)

    it's kind of the same thing! just thicker and soo delicious and addicting. i bet this would work with coconut oil, though!!

    These sound so yummy. I love coconut butter and cooking with coconut oil. It brings something so awesome to whatever I make with it.
